Terms and Conditions, Shipping & Returns

We specialise in crafts and artwork handmade in the UK. Due to the nature of hand crafted work, colours and sizes can vary slightly from the photographs. Please call us on 01926 513244 if you would like to see more photos of a particular piece of work before you decide. All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT.

Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order please email us as soon as possible at info@thefarthinggallery.co.uk If we have already posted the item you will need to follow the directions below and return the item to us.

Returns

We are sure that you will be delighted with your purchase. However, should you wish to return an item, please get in touch and let us know your name, phone number, invoice number and reason for wanting to return the item. Please wrap the item very securely, if possible in the original packaging, and return the parcel to The Farthing Gallery, 15 High Street, Kenilworth, Warwickshire. CV81LY. Once it has been returned in perfect condition within 28 days, we will then arrange an exchange, credit note or refund. Please understand that we are unable to pay for any postage charges – either the postage cost of sending it to you or your cost of returning it to us.

Keep the postage receipt in case of any loss or damage in transit. We cannot accept liability for lost or damage items that you have posted back to us. If the product has not been returned to us in fully saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or replacement of the item.

For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns on earrings.

Shipping Information

It can take up to 3 working days before your order is dispatched. If you need your order by a specific date please contact us before ordering and we will let you know if this is possible.

We do not make a profit on delivery fees; we simply charge you what it costs to send the work to you. We aim to use as much recycled material as possible in our packaging.

If you are not in to take delivery of your parcel, it is your responsibility to arrange a redelivery with the postal service used. If you do not arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel from the depot, and it is returned to us, then we will have to charge to ship it out again.

UK Orders

Orders are sent with Royal Mail first class and will take 3 – 7 working days to arrive once it has been sent. In rare cases it can take a bit longer, especially during busy times of year. If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 days please get in touch.

International Orders

International orders are sent with Royal Mail Airmail and will take between 5 – 14 days to reach you.

You, or the addressee, may be required to pay customs fees and their subsequent charges on receipt of your order anywhere outside of the UK. Please be aware that payment of these duties is your responsibility. There could also be a delay while the item is held in customs. Unfortunately we have no control over this, and cannot supply any details why or for how long your parcel may be delayed.

Packaging & Breakages

We wrap each item very carefully. Any ceramic or glass items are wrapped in bubble wrap as well as any additional packaging such as polystyrene. We endeavour to reuse and recycle packaging materials wherever possible.

In the unlikely event that your order does arrive damaged or has a fault, please contact us immediately, so that we can arrange an exchange. Please do not throw the item away. Keep it in its packaging and inform us of the problem within 7 days of receiving the goods, otherwise we cannot be held responsible for damage that has occurred.
